Units & Systems

In this menu you get a list of all the organization's units that are connected to BerlexConnect.

The menu shows both R6 systems and any VMS systems that you have in your organization. System is the word used to describe connected units.

  • Units are grouped under their system if they belong to a system

  • Otherwise, they are grouped by their product type. Gives a simpler picture of how to find your units.

    • Traffic signals - Common traffic signals and pedestrian crossings

    • Queue warning, VMS - A sign that can be set up in a system and turns on and off automatically when there is traffic. Shows the distance to traffic or a static distance (e.g. 0.2-2km or 2km (dynamic))

    • Info, VMS - Sign that can display images to inform traffic. Supports creating your own images or choosing from a standard library.

    • TMA, VMS - Sign that sits on a trailer and images can be created and allows the user to create their own library of which images are on the sign. The images are then selected by the driver via a toad/tablet.

    • Speed Reminder, VMS - Sign that shows the speed on the road, choose from several speeds. Can also be purchased with support to only show the image at radar (when a car is coming)

    • Speed display, VMS - sign showing the speed on the road, choose from several speeds. Does not support radar, only fixed images.

    • Warning, VMS - Sign that can display images to inform traffic. Choose from a large library of standard images.

  • Filtering on sub departments

    • Here you can choose to focus on a specific department to see only units related to that department.

  • Show hierarchy

    • By clicking on the round icon to the right of the filtering by product type, you as a user can choose to see all units and systems directly (Show list) or separate them by department. Gives the opportunity to get an overview of how you have distributed your units.

  • Status - Leased/Leased units

    • Leased units - Here you see units that you have leased to other organizations/departments. You can also see the systems in which your rented devices are used.

    • Leased units - Your rented units and the systems to which they belong are collected here. You can manage them and make sure they work correctly.
