Radar control - the most common type of control; the signals regulate themselves, depending on the vehicle flow. A built-in radar detects vehicles and adjusts the green times accordingly.

The system has a built-in safety function so that an auto-generated request occurs every 5 minutes and the radar does not indicate any traffic. Eg for waiting vehicles that missed the light showing green.

Time control - a time-controlled signal changes between red and green after selected adjustable times.

Manual control - the operator manages the control manually and chooses himself when the signals should show red or green.
