
Edit unit
Here you can change settings such as:
Unit name.
Unit color.
Mark as stolen.
Brightness of green and red lights (day and night).
Alarms for: angle error and position error.
Voltage of external and internal battery.
IMEI – Unique identification number for each connected unit using the mobile network (SIM card).
Name – The unit's name within the customer’s organisation.
Serial number – The serial number is set during manufacturing and is unique. This number can also be used to trace the product’s detailed components.
Manufacturing number – Internal order number used when manufacturing the unit.
Manufacturing date – The date when the unit was manufactured.
Superadmin:
Reason for device lock – If a reason for unit lock is entered, the unit will be locked, making it unusable.
Color – Change the unit 's housing color.
Radar disabled – Check this box to disable the radar.
Mark as stolen – Check this box if the unit is stolen, which will place it in a separate group (Stolen) under Units and Systems. When this box is checked, a comment can be added in the displayed field (e.g., insurance claim reference). Alarm recipients will then be notified when the unit reports its position, and the last ten positions can be viewed. For a unit marked as stolen, users can:
View logs.
Manage alarms.
Mark the unit as recovered.
Track unit .
Brightness
The brightness may need adjustment for day and night use, to improve visibility in darkness and strong backlight.
Lock brightness – Choose between Automatic, Day, or Night.
Automatic: lights follow the day/night settings automatically.
Day or Night: lights remain constant in the selected mode.
Red (day) – Strength of the red signal during daytime.
Green (day) – Strength of the green signal during daytime.
Red (night) – Strength of the red signal during nighttime.
Green (night) – Strength of the green signal during nighttime.
⚠️ Note: Changes in brightness may affect operating time.
To restore default values, press the reset symbol.
Alarm settings
Angle error – Sends an alarm to recipients if the unit is tilted for any reason.
Position error (meters) – Sends an alarm to recipients if the unit is moved from its original position. Requires specifying how many meters away the alarm should trigger.
Expected connection type – Sends an alarm if a unit uses a different connection type than expected.
Voltage offsets
External battery – If the unit's external battery drops below the set value, an alarm is sent to recipients.
Internal battery – If the unit's internal battery drops below the set value, an alarm is sent to recipients.
SAVE – Saves all changes made in the Edit unit dialog.
